Hello, crafters!

I just got some of the Spellbinders Club products for February 2025, and you can subscribe until the 27th! As always, I’m a little behind, so the reels won’t be ready before Thursday. That’s why I decided to share this blog post now and upload the videos little by little on Instagram and YouTube. If I loved last month’s clubs, this one has me even more excited… and don’t get me started on what’s coming in March! I can’t say a word! I just hope you love these clubs as much as I do. And don’t forget—if you subscribe to the Deluxe Caboodle Club (which includes all the clubs), you’ll get a bonus die as a gift (and it’s absolutely gorgeous!). Me han llegado algunos productos del Club de Spellbinders para este mes de febrero de 2025, a los que pueden suscribirse hasta el 27 de este mes. No obstante, como siempre, mi vida va un poco más lenta y los reels no estarán todos antes del jueves, por lo que he decidido compartir esta publicación de blog e ir subiendo los vídeos poco a poco, tanto en Instagram como en YouTube. Si ya me gustaron los clubs del mes pasado, ¡este me ha gustado mucho más... y lo que se viene en marzo! ¡No puedo decir nada más! Spellbinders Clubs | Clubs de Spellbinders

The Spellbinders Clubs are determined based on the product to be used. There are 14 options: Die Cutting Clubs (3 options: 1) Small Die Club; 2) Large Die Club; 3) Coordinating Dies with Stamps Club), Glimmer Hot Foil Club (includes a pack of foil roll), Stamp Club (does not include dies), Embossing Clubs (2 options: 1) Embossing Folder Club; 2) 3D Embossing Folder Club), BetterPress Club (can also be used with the Glimmer), Wax Seal Club (includes wax beads), Stencil Club, Stitching Die Club, and The Deluxe Caboodle Value Club (this club includes all the clubs and a gift that coordinates with one of the products).

BetterPress Club: February 2025 | Club de BetterPress - Febrero 2025 

This club includes several plates designed especially for the BetterPress machine, although they can also be used with the Glimmer. The card I created with this club is a Fold Card since it opens from the sides, and the message is written inside. It’s quite easy to make and looks very elegant. To ensure the sides fit together when closing the card, I simply folded one of the parts so it could slide under the other.

Este club incluye varias placas diseñadas especialmente para la máquina BetterPress, aunque también se pueden utilizar con la Glimmer. La tarjeta que he creado con este club es una Fold Card, ya que se abre por los laterales y el mensaje se escribe en el interior. Es bastante fácil de hacer y tiene un acabado muy elegante. Para que los laterales encajaran bien al cerrarla, simplemente doblé una de las partes para poder introducirla por debajo de la otra.






Glimmer Club: February 2025 | Club para la Glimmer - Febrero 2025

This club also includes some plates designed for the Glimmer machine. However, these plates can only be used exclusively with the Glimmer (NOT with the BetterPress). For this card, I used the violet foil that comes with the kit—my favorite color! What more could I ask for? To make the central phrase stand out against the white background, I attached a piece of foil to a cardstock, placed the phrase on top, and cut it into a rectangular shape. Additionally, I used the reverse foil technique, where I repurposed the leftover foil with a solid plate to transfer the negative part of the design. I then added this piece at the bottom, behind the positive part, to give it a unique touch.

Este club también incluye algunas placas diseñada para la máquina Glimmer. Sin embargo, esta placa solo puede utilizarse exclusivamente con la Glimmer (NO con la BetterPress). Para esta tarjeta, usé el foil violeta que viene con el kit. ¡Mi color favorito! ¿Qué más puedo pedir? Para que la frase del centro destacara sobre el fondo blanco, pegué un poco de foil en una cartulina, coloqué la frase encima y la recorté en forma de rectángulo. Además, utilicé la técnica del foil inverso, aprovechando el foil sobrante con una placa sólida para transferir la parte negativa del diseño. Luego, añadí esta pieza en la parte inferior, detrás de la parte positiva, para darle un toque diferente.




Stamp & Die Club: February 2025 | Club de Sellos con Troqueles Coordinados - Febrero 2025

I had really missed coloring scenes! And this February, thanks to this club, I was able to do it without any trouble using these beautiful images of little birds and bunnies. Aren’t they adorable? To create this card, I used a stamping tool that allowed me to stamp multiple times and a watercolor-friendly ink since I worked with Karin watercolor markers. I colored it layer by layer, gradually building up from soft to more intense tones. It’s not perfect, but I think it turned out pretty—and that’s what matters!

¡Cuánto echaba de menos colorear escenas! Y este mes de febrero, gracias a este club, he podido hacerlo sin ningún problema con estas preciosas imágenes de pajaritos y conejitos. ¿A que son adorables? Para crear esta tarjeta, utilicé una herramienta de estampación que me permitiera estampar varias veces y una tinta apta para acuarelas, ya que trabajé con los rotuladores acuarelables Karin. Fui coloreando por capas, de tonos más suaves a más intensos, poco a poco. No ha quedado perfecta, pero creo que ha quedado bonita, que es lo importante.



Small Die Club: February 2025 | Club de Troqueles Pequeños - Febrero 2025

This die set is a ma-ra-vi-lla! When I saw it, it reminded me of Dorothy's shoes in The Wizard of Oz, so I die-cut the shoes in red. However, I eventually decided to add polka dots to the socks so they wouldn’t stand out more than the shoes. To give the background a more vintage touch, I combined this club with the BetterPress Club and the Stamp Club, stamping the phrase with brown ink. The best thing about these clubs is that you can mix and match them to create really beautiful cards.

¡Este set de troqueles es una ma-ra-vi-lla! Cuando lo vi, me recordó a los zapatos de Dorothy en El Mago de Oz, así que los troquelé en cartulina roja. Sin embargo, al final decidí añadir lunares a los calcetines para que no destacaran más que los zapatos. Para darle un toque más vintage al fondo, combiné este club con el Club de la BetterPress y el Club de sellos, estampando la frase con tinta marrón. Lo mejor de estos clubes es que puedes combinarlos entre sí para crear tarjetas realmente bonitas.





3D Embossing Folder: February 2025 | Club de Carpeta de Embossing 3D - Febrero 2025

When you're creating, sometimes you're not sure what to do with the background. The background is one of the most important parts of the card, as you don’t want it to stand out too much, but you also want it to be something beautiful. This is where embossing folders come in; this is the 3D option, as it has more dimension than a regular embossing folder. And it’s very elegant. Honestly, I would have preferred to use it with the small die club and Dorothy's shoes, but it's okay, I still made good use of the bonus die included in the Deluxe Caboodle Club, which, as its name suggests in English, includes all the clubs. The gift is a small die with a canary, and it’s so cute!

Mientras creas, a veces no sabes qué hacer con el fondo. El fondo es una de las partes más importantes de las tarjetas, ya que no quieres que destaque demasiado, pero tampoco quieres que sea aburrido. Aquí es donde entran las carpetas de embossing; esta es la opción 3D, ya que tiene más relieve que una carpeta de embossing normal. Y es muy elegante. Sinceramente, habría preferido utilizarla con el club de troqueles pequeños y los zapatos de Dorothy, pero no importa, aún así le saqué provecho al troquel de regalo que incluye el Club Deluxe Caboodle, que, como su nombre en inglés indica, incluye todos los clubes. El regalo es un pequeño troquel con un canario, ¡y es muy simpático!





Stencil Club: February 2025 | Club de Stencil - Febrero 2025

One of my favorite clubs this month is definitely the Stencil Club. This club includes 4 layering stencils, meaning you color each one with inks to create a complete design of flowers and plants. Like the embossing folder, it can be used as a background for the die or stamp club, but it’s so beautiful that I decided to create two separate cards specifically with this club. First, I inked with Distress Inks on white cardstock, and for the second, I colored it on blue cardstock. However, I wanted to give it a more wild touch, so, since Distress Inks are reactive to water, I dropped some water to create that slightly distorted effect, and honestly, the result turned out great.

Uno de mis clubes favoritos de este mes es, sin duda, el del Stencil. Este club incluye 4 sténcils en capas, es decir, vas coloreando con tintas, uno por uno, para crear una imagen completa de flores y plantas. Al igual que la carpeta de embossing, se puede usar de fondo para el club de troqueles o el de sellos, pero es tan bonito que decidí crear dos tarjetas por separado, especialmente con este club. En primer lugar, tinté con las Distress Inks sobre cartulina blanca y, en la segunda, lo hice sobre cartulina azul. Sin embargo, quería darle un toque más desenfrenado, así que, como las Distress Inks son reactivas al agua, eché algunas gotas para crear ese efecto algo distorsionado, y la verdad es que el resultado ha quedado genial.
