Repeated Stamping with Stampwheel | Estampado Repetido con la Stampwheel

Hello crafters, 

Spellbinders Paper Arts is an American company based in the UK as well, so this is a plus point for purchasing products from Europe, as they do not ship directly from the USA. Thanks to the online store in the UK, the customer experience is improved due to the reduced shipping costs and quicker delivery if we make a comparison when products are shipped from America. This is why Spellbinders has two online shops, one for America and one for Europe: Spellbinders USA and Spellbinders UK/EU. However, a disadvantage of this would be that the US online shop has more products than the UK one, for example, liquid glue and other products from other American brands that are only sold in that shop. However, their own products are sold in both shops, which is a great advantage. They have sent me some of their products as I have recently joined the Influencer Programme. For this reason, in the product section at the end of the post, you can see those products for collaboration in the program. Spellbinders Paper Arts es una compañía americana con sede en Reino Unido también, por lo que es un punto positivo para adquirir productos desde Europa, ya que no envían directamente desde Estados Unidos. La experiencia como clienta mejora en este sentido debido a la reducción de costes en los gastos de envío y a la rápida entrega del pedido, si hiciéramos una comparación si lo enviaran desde América. Es por ello por lo que Spellbinders tiene dos tiendas online, una para América y otra para Europa: Spellbinders USA y Spellbinders UK/EU. Sin embargo, una desventaja de esto sería que la tienda online de EEUU tiene más productos que la de Reino Unido, por ejemplo, pegamento líquido y otros productos de otras marcas americanas que solo se venden en esa tienda. No obstante, sus propios productos son vendidos en ambas tiendas lo cual es una gran ventaja. Me han enviado algunos de sus productos ya que me he incorporado recientemente al Programa de Influencer y, por esta razón, en la sección de productos al final de la publicación, podrán ver aquellos productos para colaboración del programa. To create this card, Altenew's Stampwheel stamping tool was used. This tool is similar to many others on the market, such as the MISTI, but its novelty is that you can save time by stamping repeated patterns, i.e. making a spiral pattern of the same image as if it were a wreath. The Stampwheel has a circular lid with engraved sections to know where to place the stamps and thus rotate them as you stamp. It's a bit tricky at first, perhaps, but as you get used to it, it's quite easy - and it doesn't disappoint! You can re-stamp in exactly the same place if necessary. Any small to medium-sized stamp can be chosen for use with this tool, especially those tiny stamps that often come with stamp sets and get forgotten, and can be put to good use with this tool. In fact, during the creation of this card, I used a small leaf stamp that I had for some time to stamp in some gaps among the images. 

Para crear esta tarjeta, se utilizó la herramienta de estampación Stampwheel de Altenew. Esta herramienta se asemeja a muchas que existen en el mercado, como la MISTI, pero su novedad es que puedes ahorrar tiempo estampando patrones repetidos, es decir, realizando un patrón en espiral de la misma imagen, como si fuera una corona de flores. La Stampwheel trae una tapa circular en el que trae unas secciones grabadas para saber donde posicionar los sellos y así, ir rotando a medida que se estampa. Al comienzo es un poco lioso, quizás, pero a medida que se va utilizando es bastante fácil. ¡Y no defrauda! Ya que puedes volver a estampar justo en el mismo lugar si fuera necesario. Cualquier sello de tamaño pequeño o mediano puede ser escogido para utilizar con esta herramienta, especialmente esos sellos minúsculos que suelen venir con sets de sellos y que se quedan en el olvido, y que se pueden sacar provecho con esta herramienta. De hecho, durante la creación de esta tarjeta, utilicé un sello pequeño en forma de hoja que tenía desde hace tiempo para estampar en algunos huecos. 

For this card, the stamp set used with the Stampwheel stamp tool is the Fall Sampler by Simon Hurley which is available from Spellbinders. This stamp set is beautiful and its theme is perfect for this time of year, fall/autumn and Halloween. Without hesitation, it's one of my favorite stamps (the next card will be with the same stamp set!), they are simple stamps with pumpkins, various bats, and a very adorable ghost, but they have outcropping details that make them unique. Because of these details, I knew that these pumpkins had to be stamped repeatedly, forming a pattern and using inks with fall/autumnal colors.

Para esta tarjeta, el set de sellos utilizados con la herramienta de estampación Stampwheel es el Fall Sampler de Simon Hurley que se pueden adquirir en Spellbinders. Este set de sellos es precioso y su temática es ideal para esta época del año, otoño y Halloween. Sin dudarlo, es uno de mis sellos favoritos (¡la próxima tarjeta será con el mismo set de sellos!), son sellos simples con calabazas, varios murciélagos y un fantasma muy adorable, pero tienen detalles aflorados que los hacen únicos. Por estos detalles, supe que esas calabazas debían ser estampadas en repetidas ocasiones, formando un patrón y utilizando tintas con colores otoñales. 

This fall/autumn-themed card is quite easy to make, you don't even need this Stampwheel tool, you just need to have the MISTI or some other stamping platform that allows you to stamp multiple times to get a crisper image. In addition, such a tool makes it easier to align stamps by layers (one stamp on top of another) or even to ink a stamp with different shades to give it more depth or to capture the focus of attention in the images, as I have done in this card.

Esta tarjeta con temática otoñal es bastante fácil de hacer, incluso no es necesario esta herramienta de Stampwheel, basta con tener la MISTI o alguna otra plataforma de estampación que permita estampar varias veces, para así conseguir una imagen más nítida. Además, una herramienta de estas características hace más fácil la alineación de sellos por capas (un sello sobre otro) o, incluso, tintar un sello con diferentes tonalidades para darle más profundidad o, captar el foco de atención en las imágenes, tal y como he realizado en esta tarjeta.
