To create these cards, I focused on backgrounds. As you can see, I used an embossing folder to make an impression on several pieces of colored cardstock. Once all the pieces of cardstock were embossed, I added some color to them. For this, I used different wax mediums - Ranger and Hero Arts (You can see the list of products below) and in different colors: gold, silver, and pearl white. To apply these wax mediums, I simply used my fingers directly on top of the cardstock piece. The main difference between Hero Arts wax and Ranger wax is that the first is more creamy and it is similar to texture paste. The latter is very different, it is liquid at first, but when it dries it becomes like dust. Both of them (Ranger and Hero Arts wax mediums) are used for metallic or pearly highlights on cardstock. Look at the wonderful card backgrounds! They are gorgeous!
Para crear estas tarjetas, centré la atención de las mismas sobre el fondo. Como pueden ver, utilicé una carpeta de embossing para hacer una impresión en varias piezas de cartulina. Una vez realizadas las impresiones, añadí color. Para ello, utilicé diferentes medios de cera de las marcas Ranger y Hero Arts (pueden ver la listas de productos abajo) y en diferentes colores: oro, plateado y blanco perlado. Para aplicar estos mediums de cera, simplemente utilicé mis dedos directamente sobre las cartulinas. La principal diferencia entre la cera de Heo Arts y la de Ranger es que la primera es más cremosa y se asemeja más a una pasta de textura. La última es muy diferente, primero es líquida pero cuando se seca se convierte en polvo. Ambas (mediums de cera de Ranger y Hero Arts) se utilizan para dar toques metálicos o perlados sobre cartulina. ¡Mira a los fondos maravillosos que he creado! ¡Son preciosos!
