Liquid Watercolors + MMH May 18 | Acuarelas Líquidas + Kit Hero Arts Mayo 18

Hello there! It's me, Cha! This week, I received the liquid watercolors, together with the Hero Arts kit May 2018. I decided to create a card using some of the products that come with the kit and some colors of the liquid watercolors. I must say that I love so much this kit and now, they are revealing some of the new products for the new kit which will be available this Monday (4th June 2018).

¡Hola a todos! ¡Soy Cha! Esta semana recibí las acuarelas líquidas de Hero Arts y el kit de Hero Arts correspondiente al mes de mayo 2018. Decidí crear esta tarjeta utilizando alguno de los productos que venían con el kit y ahora están mostrando lo que será el siguiente kit para el mes de junio 2018 que estará disponible a partir de este lunes (4 de junio 2018). 

The card that I made for today is simple but rich in colors. I picked a piece of watercolor paper and decided to use a rainbow palette of colors. I colored it from the lightest to the darkest color with Hero Arts Liquid Watercolors - dandelion, strawberry, purple, deep ocean, and indigo. When it was completely dried, I just cut this piece with one of the rectangles from infinity dies set from Hero Arts (4 3/4 by 5 inch). 

Esta tarjeta que hice para hoy es muy simple pero rica en colores. Para el fondo, escogí papel para acuarela y decidí utilizar una paleta de arcoiris para colorear el fondo. Los colores de acurela líquida  que utilicé fueron: dandelion, strawberry, purple, deep ocean, e índigo, y pintando del color más claro al más oscuro. Lo dejé secar completamente y cuando ya estaba listo, corté esta pieza con uno de los rectángulos que vienen en el set de troqueles infinity dies de Hero Arts (4 3/4 por 5 pulgadas).

For stamping the silhouette kit stamps, I decided to use the Travel Stamp Platform by Tim Holtz. I decided to stamp the beautiful tree that came with the kit and, there were many ways to create the tree! Unfortunately, this kit is no longer available but there are many stamps set out there that you can use. 

First, I placed the grass stamp at the bottom of the card and stamped it using Versafine onyx black. Then, I moved on to stamp the trunk of the tree with the same ink and then all the branches. I stamped several times my images to get solid images and that's why I used the stamp platform. For finishing my stamping, I decided to add a squirrel on one of the branches of my tree, a boy on a swing hanging from the tree, a butterfly, and the sentiment. 

I stamped all the images with the same ink! 

Para estampar los sellos de siluetas del kit, opté por utilizar la Plataforma de Estampado de Viaje de Tim Holtz. Decidí estampar el bonito árbol que venía con el kit y... ¡habían diferentes formas para crear el árbol! Lamentablemente este kit ya está agotado pero hay muchísimos set de sellos de diferentes compañías que pueden crear una tarjeta parecida a esta. 

Primero, posicioné el sello de césped en la parte inferior de la tarjeta y lo estampé utilizando la tinta de pigmento Versafine onyx black. Luego, posicioné el tronco del árbol y lo estampé varias veces con la misma tinta y, después, estampé todas las ramas del árbol de una sola vez utilizando la misma tinta, estampando varias veces para conseguir unas imágenes sólidas, y, es por eso, que utilicé la plataforma de estampación. Para finalizar la estampación de imágenes, decidí añadir una ardilla en una de las ramas de mi árbol, un niño en un columpio colgado del árbol, una mariposa y la frase para esta tarjeta. 

¡Estampé todas las imágenes utilizando la misma tinta!

As there were some parts that the stamping did not work correctly, I decided to fill these areas with a black pen - Sakura Pigma Micron 04.

Como habían algunas partes en donde las imágenes no se estamparon correctamente, decidí rellenar esas áreas utilizando el bolígrafo negro Sakura Pigman Micro 04.

I gave some dimension to the card adding a piece of black craft foam (5 1/4 by 4 inch) on the back and, finally, I adhered the whole piece to a white notecard (4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inch) 

A esta tarjeta quise darle dimensión añadiéndole a la parte trasera de la tarjeta un trozo de goma eva o foamy de color negro (5 1/4 por 4 pulgadas) y, por último, adherí todo este panel a una base blanca de tarjeta (4 1/4 por 5 1/2 pulgadas). 

For detail touches, I used the Nuvo shimmer pen to give some glitter to the stamping area. I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops and Nuvo Jewel Drops here and there - orange marmalade, limoncello, strawberry coulis, sea breeze (Nuvo Jewel Drops), English mustard and gloss ripened pumpkin (Nuvo Crystal Drops). Finally, I added some dots with black Ranger Enamel Accents. 

Para los toques finales, añadí brillo a las imágenes con el Nuvo shimmer pen y añadí algunos puntos de Nuvo Crystal Drops y Nuvo Jewel Drops aquí y allí - orange marmalade, limoncello, strawberry coulis, sea breeze (Nuvo Jewel Drops), English mustard and gloss ripened pumpkin (Nuvo Crystal Drops). Finalmente, añadí algunos puntos con Ranger Enamel Accents de color negro.
